- Gathering Event:
The Big Pink Bus will be parked on the 1200 block of Perdido Street, directly in front of City Hall and Duncan Plaza Park for this great event! With folks from Tulane-University Mary Amelia Center, LA WIC, LA Office of Public Health-MCH Program, Greater New Orleans Breastfeeding Awareness Coalition, Louisiana Breastfeeding Coalition, Healthy Start New Orleans, local hospitals and other organizations on-hand, this is the who's-who of Louisiana breastfeeding!
- The Latch On America Documentary Crew will be spending time at Healthy Start, meeting pregnant moms who are getting the best education and support possible before their babies are born -- which is so key to breastfeeding success! The crew will also interview the new Healthy Start director and meet a case manager who is also expecting a baby! It will be a great day of discussing breastfeeding support during pregnancy.
