- Indianapolis Gathering Event:
The Day Nursery IU Health child care facility will host the big pink bus in the morning to highlight the importance of child care providers accommodating the needs of breastfeeding mothers and infants (Surgeon General's Call to Action, action #16) and the We Care for Breastfed Babies campaign.
In the afternoon, the Indiana Mothers’ Milk Bank will host a fun, free event at the State Fairgrounds with organizations from across the state, activities for kids and families, educational components, giveaways, and more.
- The Latch On America Film Crew can't wait to discuss the role child care providers play in breastfeeding success during a tour of Day Nursery IU Health and interviews with those who helped implement the program and breastfeeding moms who have benefitted.
