Latch on Hudson Valley's Breastfeeding Festival will be a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! The event will feature local businesses, groups and organizations that support breastfeeding, vendors, foods, and activities for kids with the goal being to support, empower, and educate expectant and new families in the Hudson Valley.
- The Latch On America Documentary Crew will be doing a special tribute to the founder of La Leche League Poughkeepsie who passed away a few weeks ago. Vanessa O'Keefe, who so graciously organized the Hudson Valley event, was the granddaughter of this wonderful woman and says that one of their last conversations was about Latch On America Tour, which her grandmother was very excited about. This is just one person who has made such a big impact on the town -- and we can't wait to spend some time with Vanessa discussing La Leche League and her grandmother's impact on the community.
